Not the greatest output but have a partially working PDF exported from a XLSX file with charts.
All working in @laravelphp using #PhpSpreadsheet and #Mpdf 🙌

After some trial and error, I was able to figure out how to export an Excel file with a 100% stacked column chart using @laravelphp and #PhpSpreadsheet.
Now, to put this into PDF. 😬

#PhpSpreadsheet 1.28.0 has just been released. In addition to bugfixes, this release adds Wizards for building Format Masks, Improves support for rendering formatted values; better support for recognising locale values. See the Change Log for details https://t.co/HjY74jwdan
One benefit of working on the detailed articles about using #PhpSpreadsheet that I'm writing for my Patreon sponsors: I'm discovering lots of MS Excel edge cases that aren't covered in the existing codebase, and doing PRs to handle those cases.
TIL that an Absolute Cell Reference in MS Excel isn't absolute at all, that it changes when inserting/deleting rows/columns. For 16 years, #PHPExcel then #PhpSpreadsheet have maintained absolute references as absolute; with code to ensure that they do not change: and been wrong.
#PhpSpreadsheet patch release 1.27.1 with just a single fix to composer --dev dependencies with dealerdirect/phpcodesniffer-composer-installer renaming their master branch to main
Waking up in the middle of the night, and doing some more work on my second Patreon posting about #PhpSpreadsheet... an article on the pros and cons of different methods for iterating through worksheet rows and cells... it should be ready to publish tomorrow
It's taken my the best part of a week of work, but I now have working Structured References in the #PhpSpreadsheet Calculation Engine.
Having spent a lot of time trying (without success) to handle Structured References within the #PhpSpreadsheet Calculation Engine a few months back, I've thought of a new approach that should work... guess I'll be spending the next few weeks trying to see if I can get it working
One frustration with maintaining #PhpSpreadsheet is that some users expect me to be able to make changes to the way that MS Excel, Open/Libre Office and other spreadsheet programs work
#PhpSpreadsheet 1.25.0 has been released. This includes significant improvements to charting and use of the mitoteam implementation of jpgraph, variant behaviour for merging cells, and new Excel functions, plus bugfixes. See ChangeLog for more details https://t.co/V2w7ghwMld
Supporting #PhpSpreadsheet is always entertaining.
Who can tell me what the problem is with this snippet of code that is supposed to populate row 1 with an array of header values, with entries for 186 columns?

I've just released #PhpSpreadsheet 1.24.0 with significant memory and speed improvements, a lot of improvements to chart handling, support for worksheet visibility for Ods and Gnumeric, CSV null handling, and many bug fixes. See Change Log for full details https://t.co/GOQqRgi8Yj

I'm hoping to release the first alpha for #PhpSpreadsheet 2.0 before the end of June... my original target was end of Q2. There will be at least one more release of PhpSpreadsheet v1 before then; but that target is still achievable, and in the worst case it will be early in Q3
GW終了。あっという間だった… 濃い目のコーヒー飲んで頭を切り替えなければ! 今日は「PhpSpreadsheet」で簡易帳票EXCEL出力を作る。

Experiment in memory usage for the #PhpSpreadsheet Xlsx Writer, using my 256 column by 2048 row performance test spreadsheet. It always seems to come down to a trade-off between improved memory usage and slower execution time.
