OFFICIAL: On November 25, 2025, I received a query letter from the Nigeria Premier League (NPFL) Secretariat over my social media post raising concerns that directly affected my players' welfare. The query letter had also gone viral on social media and blog posts. As cited in the letter by the NPFL, my grievances should have been communicated through the official channels and the League Body demanded an apology letter over the post or I will be sanctioned because I have violated the NPFL Framework and Rule book. Frame 1-2; On November 27, 2025, I responded to the query and proved with facts that I have previously used the official communication channels to express my concern over an incident in Bauchi which was ignored. It would be difficult to trust such a process again. However, the League Body insisted that such concerns are better raised through the official communication channels instead of social media. I accepted the query and took responsibility for the post, and I apologized to the League Body and the Chairman. I stated clearly that; "My comments were intended as constructive criticism, not a personal attack on the Chairman or the League Board." The NPFL responded with another letter and stated that I will be pardoned because I'm a first offender but I should write a personal apology letter to the Chairman of the NPFL.
