Major news for the MAG region! We've secured a historic $146 million federal grant for the Grand/35th Ave & Indian School Rd improvement project. This important project, supported by #Prop400 funding, marks our largest federal infrastructure discretionary grant received to date.

We’re looking back at the progress we have made since @ValleyMetro light rail 🚈 began service in 2008. Thanks to funding from #Prop400 and the investment from our local cities, light rail will be celebrating its Sweet 16 this year! 🎉
💡 Did you know that the completion of the Loop 303 in the West Valley took place less than 10 years ago? That’s right! Built by #Prop400, Loop 303 has created faster and better connectivity for residents in Peoria, Surprise, Sun City West, Glendale and Goodyear.

Let’s celebrate the transportation success we’ve had as a region! 🎉 A few achievements we’ve seen since the implementation of #Prop400:
🔹Completion of Loop 202 (South Mountain Freeway) in 2019, extending the freeway system 22 miles.
🔹Streetcar service in Tempe began in 2022.
The largest freeway construction project in state history is more than 80% complete thanks to the great partnership between MAG and @ArizonaDOT. This #Prop400 funded project will ease the commute for more than 300,000 motorists every day. #Prop400atWork

A robust economy is supported by a well-planned transportation system that helps move people and goods across the region. In the last two decades, #Prop400 has delivered 422 miles of freeways in our region that support our local communities and keep our economy moving forward.
2024 will mark the 5-year anniversary since the opening of Loop 202 (South Mountain Freeway). This project was made possible through partnership with ADOT and the Gila River Indian Communityand has uniquely connected the West and East valleys.
The Loop 202 was funded by #Prop400.

Through last year, #Prop400 has delivered 422 miles of new or improved freeways, 252 corridor miles of arterial streets, and supported 118 million bus transit revenue miles. Together, we're driving progress and connectivity for our community.
🌧️Enjoying the rain? The I-17 regional drainage system installed last year is hard at work during this rainy weather. Funded by #Prop400, the project installed new pipelines for the gravity-powered system to collect & discharge stormwater into the AZ Canal Diversion Channel...
... adding three new light rail stations. The project is a true collaboration, including regional funding from #Prop400, local funding from the @CityofPhoenixAZ, and grant funding from the Federal Transit Administration.
