Plans for disabled benefits cuts are divisive and sinister.
Creating a two-tier system where younger disabled people and those who become disabled in the future will be disadvantaged and denied access to work and education, is morally wrong. #PullTheBill

💯@RobinSwann_MP…I hope @UKLabour @GOVUK #PullTheBill and #CoProduce welfare with us…to earn back some respect and trust, in the government and legislative process of late @10DowningStreet & @UKParliament @HouseofCommons @ClaireHanna et al.
"We're still in a very rushed process for what is a very serious topic."
The government should have pulled the Welfare Bill and carried out their review before implementing any changes.
@ThatsTVBelfast
the amount of money put towards disability/uc/etc sounds like a lot to us normal people, but when you look at how much money the government is actually working with, and just how much money goes towards pointless shit, it’s practically *nothing* #pullthebill #WelfareReformBill
'This is crazy, man. This is outrageous, man. This bill isn't fit for purpose... Withdraw it.'
— @IanLaveryMP speaks for the nation on disability benefits cuts. Absolute shambles.
Never got called to speak in the Disability Cuts Bill as there were so many speakers speaking against the Bill. Despite the concessions announced by the government this still includes major cuts & uncertainty & so I will vote against.
@NadiaWhittomeMP Agreed. MPs have no idea what they are voting for and will likely be tricked by Starmer and Kendall, who have form for lying.

@Steven_Swinford And yet MPs are being asked to vote on what is written down before them - not these verbal promises. #PullTheBill
#scrapthebill #PullTheBill scrap it all. Cutting any money is wrong. The levels are too low anyway. And the severe diss omitted benefit cut is filtering through which is causing hardship already!
Stop messing with people’s lives and #PulltheBill
@AndyBurnhamGM #PullTheBill scrap it all. Cutting any money is wrong. The levels are too low anyway. And the severe diss omitted benefit cut is filtering through which is causing hardship already!
What is left to now Vote on? They just want to seen to be winning the vote. Please still vote DOWN this empty bill #TakingThePIP #WelfareBill #PullTheBill
Minister Timms intervened mid debate to announce he's pulling Clause 5 (PIP clause) from the Bill at Committee. So why are we still debating and voting?
This isn't how we make legislation. Pull the Bill.
@IanByrneMP @AndyBurnhamGM Andy probably knows a lot of the MP's and I hope he's busy on his phone persuading back benchers to vote against this cruel Welfare Reforms or blatent discrimatory attack on their disabled and vulnerable constituents. #PulltheBill
@MrBenSellers As well as penalising future claimants, this concession will mean that young disabled people will lose benefits on reaching 16. Completely unacceptable on both counts.
Disabled people will not accept this stitch-up and nor should MPs.

#PullTheBill
Not good enough!
Disabled people will never accept that new claimants should be penalised.
Young disabled people turning 16 will lose benefits under this concession.
The bill needs to be scrapped & disabled people consulted.

The government confirms it will make major concessions to Labour MPs over its planned benefits reforms
People who currently receive Personal Independence Payments (Pip), or the health element of Universal Credit, will continue to do so
Instead, planned cuts will only affect future claimants
The government made the climbdown after facing the prospect of defeat in the Commons if it failed to meet the demands of more than 100 backbenchers
This: https://t.co/I5ps4DhUyj. Please read, as we cannot allow these social 'security' cuts to future claimants make it harder for women to be safe. #pullthebill @RefugeCharity
@AliFortescue Not good enough! This will create a 2 tier system which will penalise new claimants AND young people reaching age 16.
Ask your MP to reject the concessions and vote AGAINST the bill.
#TakingThePIP #PullTheBill
So a 2 tier system which will penalise new claimants AND young people reaching age 16?
No thanks! Disabled people will not accept that.
Ask your MP to reject this stitch-up
