My latest purchase is a new BASIC V2 coding book. Great tipps, helpfull descriptions, tables and lists. It's available in English and German.
It's a nice contrast to most old books, as it contains colors and has a modern layout.

I can answer this #retrocoding
𝙲𝚆𝙳: sign-extend AX to DX. Making DX:AX a double word. Which means if AX is positive DX will be 0 and if negative it’ll be 0xFFFF
𝚇𝙾𝚁 𝙰𝚇, 𝙳𝚇: this will invert bits in AX if AX is negative.
𝚂𝚄𝙱 𝙰𝚇, 𝙳𝚇: this will substract -1 = adding 1 to AX if AX is negative because 0xFFFF is the representation of -1.
Bit flipping and adding 1 is an operation of doing 2 complements. Getting positive value from negative one.
This is an implementation of 𝚊𝚋𝚜() for 16-bit integer saved in AX.
This was one of the harder Microsoft interview questions I was given: see if you can figure out what it does!
