This year, we assisted cities and towns in the application and awarding of $20 million of state funds to fix local roads through @GovDanMcKee's #RIReady Municipal Road & Bridge Fund program.
The highly successful program saw all 39 cities and towns participate, with each contributing two-thirds of the cost for their projects, netting a $74 million investment in Rhode Island’s local roadways.
We had a great year this year.
We completed the second year of our $500 million, five-year investment in paving thanks to additional funds from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
