Alright, dude made an absolutely bonkers claim about health and medicine in an archaeological context in an attempt to spread misinformation so I'm invoking my PhD in Palaeopathology and we're doing a #SchulzTake. π§΅
Gonna do a #SchulzTake on this one because he's incredibly and hilariously wrong, but also he mentioned the skeleton and that summons me like Bloody Mary.
My bona fides are my PhD in Palaeopathology and my thesis on the morphology of human proximal long bones. So this basically.

This is a #SchulzTake where I get to invoke my doctoral thesis. Well, in part. These two chuckleheads have completely misunderstood what neoteny means. It's not neurological; it's morphological and it's not even really what's happening in dimorphic ontogenetic trajectories.

Yup. This is not so much a #SchulzTake so much as a #PointandLaugh take. So first off as someone who is #ActuallyAutistic autism is a big part of what made me tenacious and smart enough to earn multiple postgraduate degrees including a PhD.

There are vaccines for tuberculosis and diphtheria. Pneumonia and diarrhoea are typically more symptoms than pathogens, but there are vaccines for the more common causes of those as well.

I'm going to do a #SchulzTake on society in general allowing for a conflation of Antisocial Personality Disorder and/or psychopathy/sociopathy and autism. They are very much NOT the same thing and while I advocate treatment and empathy where possible ... this ain't it.
This has nothing to do with autism and everything to do with lack of empathy. I personally don't engage with cruel personality types.
I'm going to do a #SchulzTake on this not b/c it's wrong at all, but b/c it lacks nuance and the transphobes are going after that aspect of it.
My doctorate is in Palaeopathology and my job is Osteoarchaeology. Both of these make me an Archaeologist specializing in human remains

First off, that kid may or may not be autistic and just because they happen to have fixated on this random dude doesn't mean that's a symptom. Kids do that. It's clearly from seeing him on TV. Probably just liked his vibe.
I'm doing a #SchulzTake in part because I'm #ActuallyAutistic and in part because this sort of thing is just deeply DEEPLY offensive. And both commenters ... don't know what they're talking about. In a harmful way. They're so uneducated they are a danger to others.
