All eyes in the WCSB are trained on $SCR Strathcona as they digest their newfound Vawn asset from $CVE They picked up a FRESH brand new 10 well-pair pad ($50MM value that Cenovus drilled thru late 2025 prior to sale, on top of the 4000 bopd PDP) at Vawn that they will bring on soon… and then it looks like they’ll pivot to Meota to add some barrels later this year. January volumes were just below 35,000 bopd (without new Vawn pad) with 2026 guide set for 39,000 bopd. Will be interesting to follow this asset grow along with Cardinal as Saskatchewan Thermal sees a nice renaissance.
