The #StampOutHunger Food Drive is still in full swing and letter carrers and volunteers are sorting donations, loading trucks, and helping ensure food banks are equipped to serve local families in need.
Every donation left by a mailbox today represents a neighbor helping a neighbor, and every pickup reflects the commitment letter carriers bring to their communities every single day. Shoutout to Southern Illinois Merged Branch 1187, Summit City Branch 116 Fort Wayne, IN, Seattle, WA Branch 79, and Miami, FL Branch 1071 for the incredible work happening out there today!
From Ponce, PR Branch 826, Olympia, WA Branch 351, Long Island Branch 6000, and Newport, RI Merged Branch 57, to communities across the country, carriers are hard at work collecting and sorting thousands of pounds of food for neighbors in need. #StampOutHunger is the largest single-day food drive in the nation, and it succeeds because of the dedication of letter carriers and the generosity of the communities we serve every day.
