Kirk's cure for a computer virus: fly the ship back into the cloud that caused it. Spock calls the infection a bacteria. Nobody mentions a backup. Starfleet IT deserves hazard pay. #StarTrek #StarTrekTAS

Kirk orders the computer to open a door. The computer says "say please." He says please. It says "say pretty please with sugar on." The pranks are weak, but the dialogue nails exactly whose mind is behind them. #StarTrek #StarTrekTAS

The Enterprise escapes the Romulans by inflating a decoy version of itself, 20 times larger than the real ship, out of the cargo hold. Romulan sensors do not notice. Romulan eyeballs do not notice. #StarTrek #StarTrekTAS

We remember the #StarTrek contributions of Mark Lenard.
He played the Romulan commander in "Balance of Terror" TOS S1E14 and Sarak in "Journey to Babel" TOS S2E10.
He would bring back Sarek in #StarTrekTAS, #StarTrekTNG and the first wave of Star Trek films.
The Enterprise runs its air, its temperature, its gravity, its food, and its navigation through one computer. In "The Practical Joker," that computer catches something and develops a sense of humor. Single point of failure, 23rd century edition. #StarTrek #StarTrekTAS

Star Trek's first holodeck showed up in 1974, and it was called the rec room. "The Practical Joker" gets there 13 years before Riker walks into the woods on the Enterprise-D. #StarTrek #StarTrekTAS

Not only Sord's skin colour changes several times in #StarTrekTAS' "The Jihad" but also the colour of his coat. It's yellow/orange in most scenes but appears green twice. Also notice how part of his wrinkled neck skin becomes part of the costume for one shot in the middle of the episode โฌ

Over the course of #StarTrekTAS' "The Jihad", Sord's skin colour changes several times. The two green hues are the ones seen most often in the episode (and on the member of his species in #StarTrekSNW's "Tomorrow's Enterprise"). ๐

A member of Sord's species from the #StarTrekTAS episode "The Jihad" appears in the Enterprise shuttlebay in #StarTrekSNW's "Tomorrow's Enterprise". This is one of three alien species originally introduced in #TAS seen in the #SNW episode. ๐ 1/2
We remember the #StarTrek contributions of Roger C. Carmel.

Here's a look at Lt. M'Ress in #StarTrekTAS' "The Practical Joker"โฌ
๏ธ and in #StarTrekSNW's "Tomorrow's Enterprise"โก๏ธ. In the former episode, Caitian hands have four fingers, while in the latter, M'Ress has five fingers, giving away that an extra is wearing the make-up (and it's not CG). If you feel like going on a rampage about this, I ask you to first read these two articles:
https://t.co/NOubNXTIs3
https://t.co/KLNzvG9bYU
Yes! There's indeed a famous Caitian seen in the shuttlebay in #StarTrekSNW's "Tomorrow's Enterprise". Where M'Ress was hiding all the time until season 1 of #StarTrekTAS? In the same place where Chekov was hiding in season 1 of #StarTrekTOS, yet managed to meet Khan! ๐
So many TAS Easter Eggs.
