Thanks to @ClubdeMadrid for organizing today’s #CSocD59 side event on “Transforming #multilateralism for #SocialJustice & #Inclusion” where @Portugal_UN presented the core issues to be addressed at the #Porto Summit on #SocialDevelopment next May 2021.
Some further take-aways
- we have to move beyond the concept of GDP
- globally, needs a coherent system that listens to the people (eg. the UN needs more integrated thinking)
- put people at the center of recovery, resilience & social justice
