What individuals & good government groups like @QCC4ALL @CQUID718 @ReformersNew have been saying! It all starts with fair ballot access for all. We need statewide reform of the county board of elections system.

🎊 Congratulations to The Honorable @derekevers 🥳🎊
So excited for you, your constituents & our Queens-wide coalition in the small-d/participatory democracy movement 💪🏽

@lex_nyc @BOENYC The way that Qns Dem County Committee currently functions, it is the Executive Committee (really just the Exec Cmmte Chair &/or County's lawyers) that decides BOE Commissioner appointments. Reform-minded DLs & CC members aim to change this! #TakeBackCounty #NewReformers #QCC4ALL
@ReformersNew @EthanFelder87 Hmm, rage against the Queens Democratic Party machine and passion for small-d democracy...I'll accept that characterizarion of our campaign!

@WOYD973 @Oseguera2020 Same here in Queens, New York City. Along with other groups and individuals, @QCC4ALL and @ReformersNew are working to change that!

@yben Thanks for the shout-out, @yben! @ReformersNew and @QCC4ALL have led the way in organizing efforts to #TakeBackCounty so we can establish a #HealthyDemocracy.
This is unacceptable and is indeed VOTER SUPPRESSION! Russell Sage JHS 190 in Forest Hills, Queens is one of the 3 largest polling sites in Assembly District 28. Why would @BOENYC staff refuse to report and address the problems?
#NewReformers #QCC4ALL #QNSVotes #TakeBackCounty
VOTER SUPPRESSION
Voters in Forest Hills at Russell Sage not given TWO Ballots. One for Presidential Delegates and one for local races.
EVERY Election District has only 25 ballots for state committee race.
Pollsite Coordinator agrees this is wrong and REFUSES to call BOE.
Tomorrow vote for me and other @ReformersNew candidates like @mariteskaufer @EthanFelder87 @MiriamBensman @HeatherEBD & Steve Goffner here in AD28 and help us to #StopSRB and #TakeBackCounty to reform the #QueensMachine. #QCC4All
@theuresamaven and why they have been in #queens county power for decades? and how do we, queens voters, get them out? our democratic party is run by #frankbolz #michaelreich & #gerardsweeney? how do we get rid of the #queensmachine when we never elected them in the first place? #queensda #vote
#StopSRB #TakeBackCounty. You have choices Queens. Reject the #QueensMachine and take back your party. Look for @ReformersNew candidates running for Party positions to make it more transparent, accountable and accessible.
🧵Why am I running for District Leader? Because we need to reform the anti-democratic @Queens_Dems! What my opponent, a 34-year DL(!), says from 2:00-3:30 is everything wrong with the #QueensMachine.

And if you live in Assembly District 28, Part B in parts of #ForestHills, #RegoPark, #MiddleVillage, #Glendale and #Ridgewood, please vote for me on June 23 and help #TakeBackCounty and #StopSRB.
Be well and stay safe.
Very happy to announce I am running for Queens County Democratic Party District Leader for District 28B in #RegoPark/#ForestHills/#MiddleVillage to #TakeBackCounty, ensure we have a #QCC4All & #StopSRB. Its your Party, not the power brokers'.

Please join us as we work to #TakeBackCounty, build a truly democratic Democratic Party (one that practices the democratic values of transparency, accountability, accessibility, and inclusivity) and finally make #QCC4ALL! 4/
One of the primary reasons I decided to run for District Leader in Queens AD28, was too ensure the voices & votes of my fellow Queens Democrats are heard. Endorsements in primaries, as happened today suppresses those voices & it needs to end #LetQNSdecide #QCC4All #TakeBackCounty
