Got to see #TheDevils back at TIFF in September & believe me when I tell you it’s one of the most unforgettable theater experiences you’ll ever have. Still haven’t stopped thinking about it or all its wild imagery. If it’s playing near you do yourself a favour & check it out ASAP
#TheDevils is simply unforgettable. A highly controversial, disturbing, provocative, raw & batshit insane experience that starts normal enough before descending into absolute madness & taking you straight to the depths of hell. Oliver Reed & Vanessa Redgrave stun here #TIFF

Much as I'm excited for #thedevils, the main part which unnerved me when I first saw the edited version was the scene where Grandier has his legs crushed. Can anyone confirm with me if any stuff has been added back in for it or is it just as it was on already available versions?

Going as Oliver Reed in #TheDevils for Halloween only for ppl to mistaken me for Nacho Libre (a win-win)
Looking in the mirror and noticing that I bear a strong resemblance to Oliver Reed in #TheDevils
Father Urban Grandier you have to stop. You smoke too tough. Your swag too different. Your bitch is too bad. They'll kill you. #thedevils
Was able to see the 4K restoration Director's Cut of The Devils tonight in Boston and all I can say is wow..... what a ridiculously tremendous movie. That was something else. #TheDevils
#TheDevils is incredible, and, yet sadly, a better indictment of our current state of affairs than almost any other “modern” film. #AtkinSociety
So fucking hyped for this. #thedevils
#TheDevils #KenRussellsTheDevils - Seeing it restored and uncut on the big screen is the kind of moment cinephiles live for. Gave me a deeper appreciation for an already great film, and allowed me a venue to properly admire a true masterwork.

If you like artists taking big swings, #TheDevils is a social satire that might be the most heretical film of all time as it takes on humanity and its social structures.
A terrific read. The film was a unicorn. Few people saw the entire cut until this week. It’s a travesty this brilliant film has been hidden for so long. It will now rightfully find its place in the pantheon of important cinematic works. #TheDevils @clockwork_wb #cinema
As The Devils returns to theaters worldwide 55 years later with a newly restored, uncensored version, Isaac Feldberg explores the desecration and resurrection of Ken Russell’s maligned masterpiece. https://t.co/jL0OXbVPkI
I early voted, and then saw #TheDevils, an NC-17 film at 3:30 in the afternoon. It was a good day.
(Photos of the end credits were at the very end while the house lights were up and the other 5 people had already left the auditorium).
Imagine a well acted decent budgeted nuns-ploitation film

Seeing Ken Russell's The Devils, think I have the theater to myself! Is that good or bad?
