Year 5 have tried to work out the comparative sizes of our Earth, Sun and moon - looking at space hoppers, footballs, peas, beads and peppercorns! We were wrong to begin with! #UJIY5 #UJIscience
Today in science, Year 1 made predictions and carried out tests to find out which materials were waterproof and not waterproof. We found out that rubber and plastic are waterproof but fabric (cotton) and paper are not. #UJIYr1 #UJIscience
Year 1 have been exploring, identifying and naming the deciduous and evergreen trees in our school grounds. We managed to find oak, hawthorn, birch, rowan, ash, horse chestnut, beech, holly and sycamore trees! #UJIYr1 #UJIscience
