Starting work on the form to add a new investment for tracking.
I needed to fetch the list of asset categories from the database to display them in a dropdown menu, as shown in the video.
To achieve this, I created an endpoint to retrieve all categories and integrated it into the Flutter frontend. For fetching data over the network, I used http.get.

This diagram assisted me in generating my relational database and the SQL code to create the tables. Many tools allow you to directly generate SQL code for your database from a UML diagram.
