Imagine getting an almost $1600 dollar android phone then not getting the best experience in the apps 🤣
Even an iPhone 6s has snapchat and tiktok darkmode 💀
iOS vs. Android App Quality Difference [Part 3]
Many popular apps don’t have a dark mode on their Android version, while they’ve had a dark mode on iOS for years.
Here are two of those popular apps in my daily use.
Snapchat has had a dark mode on iOS since 2019. TikTok has also had one for years.
Besides that, both the apps function noticeable worse on Android in terms of smoothness and animations.
Built-in camera quality is a lot worse on TikTok for Android. Same for Snapchat besides a few supported models that have good camera quality (luckily my S23U is included).
Note: Snapchat is currently working on a dark mode for Android. It’s available to some users, but it’s a paid feature in Snapchat+ (Ugh).
