It is the TPLF’s war. It started by TPLF choices, driven by TPLF leadership, and owned by TPLF alone. Do not let old grievances, temporary alliances, or the language of “survival” pull your sons, daughters, and neighborhoods into another round of destruction that TPLF decided to reopen. Your communities have already paid too high a price in earlier wars.
Stay out of TPLF’s fight.

TPLF has been denounced and constrained by parts of the international community for undermining the Pretoria peace process. Visa restrictions were placed on hardline TPLF figures. That is not a small diplomatic footnote; it is a warning that this organization is not a trusted partner for peace. Amhara and Oromo people should not attach their future to a group that much of the world has already judged as a threat to stability.
Today, U.S. Ambassador Ervin J. Massinga made the point in public. He expressed disappointment that TPLF leadership launched a large-scale offensive, called that choice a poor decision, said TPLF was engaging in an unwinnable fight, and warned that other armed groups would be wise to stay away. He also said rejecting African Union-sponsored dialogue does nothing for civilians. That is as clear a signal as diplomacy usually gives: TPLF is choosing war over peace.

Amhara and Oromo communities should hear that message and refuse the invitation. Do not fight TPLF’s war. Do not lend it fighters, territory, or political cover. Protect your people by staying out, demanding dialogue, and refusing to let TPLF turn Ethiopia’s wider pain into its own battlefield. This conflict belongs to TPLF. Leave it there.

I have observed something rather interesting regarding dark skinned black women.
