The Trump administration is the Grinch who stole Christmas for thousands of union workers already on the job making wind energy a reality in New York State.
Don’t just take my word for it:
The LIA has prioritized and championed the growth of our region's offshore wind industry and the concomitant clean energy jobs and economic benefits that have come with Long Island’s national leadership role.
After the Trump administration's announcement yesterday that it is halting offshore wind projects, LIA President & CEO Matt Cohen stressed the need for a diversified fuel mix that includes offshore wind as well as other sources such as natural gas, and the LIA supports @GovKathyHochul's "all-of-the-above" approach to ensure reliability, affordability, and economic growth.

The job-killing Trump administration just fired thousands of hardworking New Yorkers before the holidays and made our country more dependent on foreign energy in the process.
