Early morning thoughts
As per @TMuk_news, money spent on transfer fees since 20/21:
Chelsea ≈ £2.12Bn
Man Citeh ≈ £1.33Bn
Spurs ≈ £1.26Bn
Man United ≈ £1.17Bn
Arsenal ≈ £1.10Bn
Liverpool ≈ £960M
Here to remind you yet again how impressive we have been under Mikel.
And remember, this is just ‘transfer expenditure.’ This doesn’t consider the entire sums clubs spend on resources.
A January report from Deloitte Money League stated that for the 24/25 campaign, only Spurs had a lower wages/revenue ratio (44%) than us (49%). 25/26 will see an increase, but nothing outlandish relative to our competitors.
Essentially, we don’t spend extravagantly in isolation.
Worth bearing in mind that the top two clubs here face minimal consequences if transfers fail. They can dip into the market again and again. We can’t do that. That’s why big purchases need to be critically examined before going ahead with a deal.
Finishing 2nd, 2nd, 2nd and 1st is a tremendous illustration of how incredibly consistent we have been!
@gladyswanga You are messed up. Women were raped, property destroyed, pple injured and all you care is getting one better punch line over your polical rival. Please go and heal your county
I have watched a clip of Hon George Opondo Kaluma allegedly inciting physical violence against any one chanting Wantam in Homa Bay . He further allegedly directs inspection on hotels and accommodation points for perceived “ enemies “ . Which country are we living in ? Is Homa Bay a”Haiti” of sorts and outside the Kenyan jurisdiction? These are punishable offences if we were not selectively applying the law . But one day such leaders will be subjected to the full force of the Law . Doesn’t matter how long it takes . #wantam @LindaMwananchi_
@ColloTM_McArum No it doesn't. You choose to report on the premier league goals output matrix, cause that's pushes ur narrative better. I chose to use goals per season matrix coz it pushes ma narrative better.
@ColloTM_McArum And imagine after all the noice from Chelsea, they go on to sign welbeck and Henderson. They failed to even meet Sunderland's valuation for xhaka.
I refuse to get excited about either Bruno or Vinicius until I'm given a really good reason to.
Really good reasons include: An actual agreement for Bruno, Vinicius rejecting Real Madrid's contract offer, or an official bid reported by a super reliable source.
Chelsea FC's parent company (BlueCo) has approximately £1.4 billion of debt. In
2024–25 they made a pre-tax loss of £262 million. They've finished beneath #AVFC in the Premier League for three of the last four seasons. Next season they ain't in any #UEFA competition.
