Is it really the same brain the rest of us have that some of you are carrying around? Because I’m struggling to understand why anyone would expect a groom to abandon his own wedding engagements to go and pick up a guest at the airport. Like, are you the bride?
Same way they kept mocking FMK’s looks, instead of her hardwork and business model to inspire them, they resulted to shaming her looks and trying to make her feel small. Shiyasa an barsu da kyau din, anci gaba a rayuwa an barsu da bakin zuciya!
Things a Husband Cannot Demand From His Wife in Islam
Marriage gives spouses rights over one another—but it does not give either spouse unlimited authority.
You’re changing the topic entirely, and I’m willing to bet it’s deliberate.
No one was talking about seeking advice. There’s a clear difference between your sisters and aunties advising you and your sisters and aunties deciding for you.
The former is healthy; it shows there’s mutual understanding and respect within the family. The latter simply means you’re a weak man, and any woman from a family where men lead wouldn’t even give you a second look. Period.
Seeking your sister’s advice or support in marriage is now being labelled as weakness by some people on Twitter. You just have to thank God life doesn’t end on this platform.
Marriage has never been an entirely private affair. Families, especially in laws, have always had some influence on it. Whether that influence is healthy or abusive is a different discussion.
There’s nothing wrong with wanting your sisters and aunties to like your wife. In fact, it often makes for a happier marriage than beginning with resentment. That doesn’t mean your siblings get to choose your spouse or must like her, but seeking their goodwill isn’t a sign of weakness.
Nigerians are so deeply fascinating. What do you mean you borrowed money from a loan app and then deleted the app from your phone?? What exactly was that supposed to do?
We need to find a way to introduce financial literacy to our schools. Right from primary school actually because the ignorance with which you people are applying for these loans is actually scary.
Hmm... removing all the pins is not enough. If you know the kind of spells they use in making this, you will know it is not enough.
Every pin is a curse that activates dark forces. Most times, there are the Khadim Al-Sihr (servants of magic). And since they bury it in the ground, the Jinn al-Turabi (earthly forces) are also activated.
The pins on the head represent mental confusion or severe migraines. If the pin is pinned on the legs, it represents total stagnation.
This is why I said removing the pins is not enough. It will only break the physical trigger and give the victim temporary relief. But the spiritual contract with those dark entities will still remain open.
For a total redemption, you have to burn it completely and make sure it turns to ashes. While doing it, you need to pray. For Muslims, your Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas are enough as you burn it.
Once it turns to ashes, don’t just pour it anywhere around your house o. Pack it up and throw it into a moving river so the water scatters it.
If you don't have a river nearby, take it far away into a bush where people do not walk and bury it. This clears the last physical trace of that evil forever.
Be careful out there. İle nyo.
May the Almighty continue to protect us.
Thesame islam encourages fasting for people who are not able to. Why did you leave out that point & focused on the marriage as necessity to avoid falling into Haram? We should be fair to ourselves Shehi. Arewa muna da matsala when it comes to Aure, we push people that are not ready into marriage with “age” & “falling into haram” being our justifications and very little regards for how the marriage could be sustained. We have been practicing this, where did it lead us to?
More almajirai and more broken homes. Islam encourages people who “CAN” to get married, Arewa has made marriage compulsory on everyone.
Yo, akwai marasa kunya ma irin mazan Hausawa.
Daga inda rainin hankalin mu ya fara shine the very first time your wife gets pregnant, you shamelessly take her back to her parents to take care of her until she delivers, feed and nurse her back to full strength, then return her to you perfectly ready for another pregnancy. Hada su kayan abinci fah za’a hado maka. 😂
You are responsible for the pregnancy, so you should also be responsible for taking care of her through it, man. 🤷🏽♂️
And then, any sickness that requires extra care, the husband returns her to her parents until she recovers. If it happens repeatedly, he keeps taking her back and bringing her home once she's well again. Bayan tin a wajen daurin aure an dora maka duk wannan dawainiyar fah.
Allah Ya saka ma mata da iyayen su da alkhairi, mu kuma Allah Ya kara shirya mu to be taking our full responsibilities. 😌
I dont understand the rationale for men that come on X with the same story about their frustration after marrying nurses. To make female nurses undesirable for marriage or what?
There is no single sense in these continuous phobia-inducing tweets.
Nurses are some of the most harworking professionals in this country.
More women should come into this profession because the healthcare systems need their softness and patience.
I am going to marry a midwife, and i know her professional demands.
Besides, nurses work on shifts, getting at least 3 days off after working a full week.
Some years ago, a young married woman in our Town was sexually harassed and intimidated by a lecturer. The harassment and sexual abuse didn't stop in his office, it continued on WhatsApp and even became physical.
She did everything a victim is always told to do, she kept screenshots, recorded his voice, saved videos, and gathered enough evidence to expose him.
With courage, she reported the matter to the school authorities and presented all the evidence, including the intimidation she was facing from him. But instead of protecting her, they protected their own. They reportedly took her phone and deleted all the evidence to shield their colleague from accountability.
Then came another blow. When the examination results were released, she discovered that she had failed the same lecturer's course. Convinced that she had answered the questions correctly, she went to his office to seek an explanation. Rather than listen to her, he humiliated her and threw her out of his office.
At that moment, she realised that the system had failed her. Feeling helpless, betrayed, and denied justice, she decided to set his office on fire.
What made the entire situation even more painful was that the school authorities took legal action against her and sent her to prison, even though she had a five-month-old baby.
I do not support jungle justice or taking the law into one's own hands. But cases like this sometimes need such jungle justice.
The HOD of History and International Studies at Northwest University (formerly Yusuf Maitama University) a visiting lecturer at MAAUN (Mariam Abacha American Nigerian University) was beaten mercilessly by an angry husband.
Why? He kept rejecting the man’s wife’s project for the past 2 years, then demanded to have an affair with her in exchange for approval. The MAAUN student exposed him, told her husband, and they set the trap. He showed up for the meet-up… and received the beating of his life!
This can never become a normal lifestyle for me, celebrating infidelity at its finest. Women are really enduring NGL, no brother would ever wish to see his sister living with a flagrant adulterer just because he has money.
I don’t want to talk about this Goje’s saga, but some of you (Muslims) are moving like animals on this sm!
So because a woman is a second wife, she shouldn’t have a problem with her husband sleeping with prostitutes outside?
What exactly are you monkeys trying to normalize??
