@Hawkeyemi@ryry6060 Thanks man! Don’t worry about the initial response. I agree with what you’re saying. I try to tread lightly when it comes to criticism but at the same time it’s all a part of it!
“A moment that really stuck out to me is when Saint Mary’s was playing Davidson. Ian Platteuw made three 3 pointers the entire season on eleven attempts, and McKeever ran him off the line and gave up a wide open dunk.”

@Hawkeyemi@ryry6060 I trust the coaching staff and their decision as well! Extremely happy with this pick up. Just nitpicked some things I saw in his game and what I think the coaching staff is going to work with him on the most. Just wrote down what I saw.
@ryry6060 Where in the article did I say that? He’s a crucial addition to Iowa and raises the ceiling a ton. The point is that there’s flaws that most fans may not know of. Iowa fans weren’t tapped in to the Gayle’s so I dove deeper and wrote what I saw. You can nitpick with every player.
I watched a ton of Andrew McKeever’s tape from last year at Saint Mary’s. I was surprised by a lot of things I saw.
Here’s a breakdown of everything I noticed⬇️🔗

Melsahn is a guy who will never get the respect he deserves from Hawkeye fans and this tweet is the reason why. His numbers ended up going down every year although the talent was obvious. Basabe, Marble, and White were electric in Carver and the reason I grew up a huge mbb fan.
No disrespect hawk fans I actually could have did more 💯If you see my pro film the school didn’t use me on offense enough . I could gave you the elite 8 you wanted , I had the skills to do more but the coaches had me play a role and I respect 🫡 the team mission ❤️
The Hawkeyes will travel to West Lafayette to open up conference play on December 1st to take on the Purdue Boilermakers. Iowa’s last win in Mackey Arena came in January of 2016. Another tough early season test for this group.
@Everyth1ng_Cy All the best players get to the line at a premium. That’s called doing what you can to score. It’s modern day basketball. Free throw merchant is an outdated insult Joe.
