๐จ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ BREAKING: Reece James, out for England with hamstring injury. โ
Heโll miss at least next two World Cup games, reports @Guardian.
๐จ๐จ| BEAUTIFUL MOMENT: The entire Colombia fanbase near him respectfully waited for him to finish singing the Congo national anthem alone before joining in to ๐๐๐๐๐ him afterward ๐ฅฒ๐จ๐ด
Let me be clear. Marcos Alonso was levels above Cucurella at Chelsea. Goals assists titles. Cucurella has none of that. One is a Chelsea legend , one is a passenger and a yapper.I will die on this hill.
A boost for Baltimore during draft week: Ravens DT Nnamdi Madubuike, who suffered a season-ending and career-threatening neck injury in Week 2 last season, underwent neck surgery last week that left his doctors believing he willl be able to resume playing this season, per sources.
The Texas Attorney General sent a formal letter to the Big 12 today alerting the conference that Texas Tech would take action against any league sanction.
Texas litigator here. Unless and until the Amarillo Court of Appeals or the Texas Supreme Court stays or dissolves the valid temporary injunction obtained by Brandon Sorsby, Texas Tech would be well within its right to take legal action against any entityโthe Big XII Conference, the CFP, other universitiesโthat attempts to โpunishโ Tech for complying with with the controversial-but-lawful TI. Sorsby has been reinstated by a lawful order from court of competent jurisdiction, and while Tech is not obligated to play Sorsby, it currently has the right to do so. And the NCAAโs interlocutory appeal of the TI order is unlikely to be resolved prior to the end of the college football season. Against this backdrop, any organization that attempts to step in for the NCAA to exclude Sorsby is inviting a lawsuit from Sorsby and/or Tech, with Tech taking the position that it is merely complying with the TI order and that it canโt be punished for doing so.
Hocutt, Sorsby, & Cody Campbell have a way out with PR wins for all involved:
1) Hocutt/Campbell assure Sorsby that his NIL contract will be honored/paid no matter what
2) Sorsby announces that he will not play & will enter NFL Supplemental Draft to not be a distraction to his team/program nor disrespect the game/rules
Campbell has proven that he has the $ to easily make this happen and if they donโt encourage Sorsby to do something like this then they are playing into the stereotype that TTU is a โdo whatever it takes (possibly immorally/illegally) to winโ programโฆ. something that may be difficult to recover from.
Every Big 12 AD but Texas Tech's Kirby Hocutt believes Brendan Sorsby shouldn't play. That was communicated today on the call
There are plenty of ideas to convince/pressure Tech to cut Sorsby loose, but Ads believe it's common sense: He bet on his sport; Tech shouldn't play him
Per reports, members of Congress working on college sports legislation are confused by the recent consternation around athletes gambling. Placing bets on outcomes they influence is a primary source of income for many of them.
