Naeem joined @nayatelpk as Driver 9 years back. Most of semi-skilled persons hired in such positions in countries like Pakistan work for life in same position, no formal training, learning, development and career growth. But good organisations like Nayatel hire great people and provide them learning and growth opportunities to become awesome.

Naeem was selected for a Technician-cum-Driver Program and given training on fiber installations. At end of training, he won Star Trainee Award in post training evaluation by securing highest marks and leaving behind the guys with certified technical education background. Many young guys complain of no jobs. I tell them that today’s axe is computer/smart phone, so instead of mindless scrolling, use it to learn new skills, whether it’s AI, coding, content creation, or whatever. Door of global opportunities would be wide open for those who keep learning new things and keep working diligently and persistently.

NTS is a pretty basic exam. 30% is english and maths. Include synonyms, antonyms, and analytical reasoning (have youtube videos on how to solve) and basic maths like plus minus square root calculate %.

70% is clinical. Majorly covers medicine surgery gynae paeds and eye and ent. Doesn't go too deep. Basic questions like chronic cough with foul smelling purulent sputum or treatment of TB etc. Pulmonology is their favorite.
Some questions from surgery too mostly from S1 like post surgical infections or how to control SSI. Some questions cover psychiatriy . Gynae obs also superficial like pcos LH FSH ratio type questions or placenta previa acreta etc.

My advice to all the students is to go through MTB Step 2 CK book superficially. And attempt clinical portion first. The analytical reasoning will take some time so spare atleast 50- 60 minutes for it

Best is submit an application signed by 3-6 neighbours to Wafaqi Mohtashib (Ombudsman), Islamabad. Submit application and get a diary/receipt no. Then send a reminder by post/courier after 20-25 days, followed by another or more with same interval if no response is received. Hopefully they’d fix a hearing on 3rd reminder. Attend hearing. You don’t need a lawyer, hence no fees involved. Application should be against CDA (not against the school or home owner) for non conforming use of residential buildings and their use for commercial purposes.

Hopefully this would work, total time could be 6 months from date of application.

If this doesn’t work, then second option is to file a suit in civil court through a reasonable lawyer (fee could be 50-150k). It would take 6-12 months but this is sure way to get rid of them.
