This season, if you see a referee wearing a yellow armband, they are a child.
A young person brave enough to pick up a whistle, walk into the middle of a football pitch and make decisions in front of players, coaches and parents.
They won't get every decision right.
Neither will the players.
Neither will the coaches.
Neither will you.
So when you see that yellow armband:
Be patient.
Encourage them.
Protect them.
Let them learn.
Because that 15-year-old you support this weekend could become a referee for the next 30 years.
The one who gets shouted at, abused or humiliated?
They might put the whistle down on Sunday and never pick it up again.
Please share this message.
And this weekend, if you see the yellow armband, remember the child wearing it. 💛⚽
@ReggieSydal@Ian86MCFC 🙄 Such a typical deflecting response from a left-wing, migrant arse licking prick, ignoring factual statistics which show 3,600 migrants have committed sexual assaults, including the raping of children in the last 4 years.
Will you be requesting a copy?
The Home Office knows illegal immigrants are so dangerous they have the tell them not to rape kids, beat up women or mutilate genitals. And yet they’re about to plonk a load of them in rural villages.
The fact that the Home Office has felt the need to produce a booklet telling illegal migrants...
- Not to rape women
- Not to rape children
- Not to hit or kick their partner
- Not to control what a woman wears
- Not to control where a woman goes
- Not to whistle or make kissing noises at someone
- Not to take sexual images of someone without their consent
... should make the Home Office have a serious think about the kind of people they are shovelling taxpayers' money towards.
You’d be forgiven for thinking someone had accidentally opened a portal to Lahore.
Nope. Just thousands of Pakistanis in the UK throwing a full-scale Independence Day rave for a country they couldn’t wait to leave.
If it’s that brilliant… why the hell are you still here?
It takes less than 30 seconds to stop any subscription charge on the Apple App or on Revolut Bank. We don’t need a PM to make that easier for us. His refusal to even attempt to stop the boats is ridiculous.
A pantomine horse isn’t a horse.
An open secret isn’t a secret.
A hot dog isn’t a dog.
A shrinking violet isn’t a violet.
Crow’s feet aren’t feet.
Fair game’s not a game.
Trans women aren’t women.
Everyone at Manchester City is devastated to learn our former manager Kevin Keegan has passed away, aged 75.
Kevin was a transformative manager who brought optimism and vibrancy to City during his four-year spell in charge.
The promotion campaign in 2001/02 will never be forgotten, and Kevin then established us once again as a top Premier League side in the years that followed.
Our thoughts are with Kevin’s family and friends at this very difficult time.
