Wellbeing Week got off to a musical, colourful start with yesterday’s packed Open Mic session and tie dye! Today’s Colour Festival was a huge, energetic success and the Wellbeing Team is excited to see everyone for breakfast at 8.10am tomorrow morning!
This week sees Wellbeing Week led by our Y13 Wellbeing Team. There are events on offer for everyone including tie-dye; music; sports; a colour run (without any running!); breakfasts and the return of RAKS, compliments cards, @HiboWardere and our not so silent disco!
We’ve had a very busy first week of term. Thank you to all of our staff, students and ex-students for running Tuesday’s Entrance Test. We said a huge welcome to our new Y7s and 12s on Wednesday and a very noisy welcome back to everyone else on Thursday
We’ve been delighted to celebrate with Year 13 today, but even more proud to celebrate their involvement in and leadership of absolutely everything throughout their time at HBS. We’re so excited to see them go out and take on the world!
Next up - tomorrow is our Year 12 led vertical International Day: full of sports, dance, quizzes, treasure hunts, films, popcorn - and carnival floats!
Thank you so much to our brilliant staff and students for such fantastic Open Days in the sunshine over the last few days. A reminder that the deadline for Entrance Test Entry Forms is tomorrow, Tues 17 July at 5pm
Unfortunately we are having to postpone today’s Year 7 trip to @Iristheatre due to events in London today. Further information is being sent via @ParentMail to Year 7 parents this morning

We hope all of our students are enjoying the beautiful sunshine: those who have finished exams and are on holiday; those watching today’s football; those celebrating Pride; and those counting down till the end of term!
Hope you’ve all had a balanced break, with time for rest, relaxation and fun - especially Y11 and Y13: we know you’ve got the next few weeks in the bag!
It’s the annual time to say how excited we are to be working with new Head Girl, Jo, Deputy Head Girl, Jen, and our fab Y12s who will be great leaders at HBS - and thank you to the outgoing HGT: Jaina, Ria, Mannat, Hannah & Precious and all of our amazing Y13 Prefects 💛
Well done Y11 for starting the GCSEs with such good humour and fun. We hope that you, and Year 13, manage to have some time off to rest and recuperate over half term. We also hope the rest of the school has a week of fun and relaxation, here’s some half term suggestions
