Many thanks to the lovely Year 10 students at St Gabriel’s for taking part in this week’s Theology, Philosophy and Ethics workshop. Students looked at the philosophical dilemma of the mind, body and soul and tackled ethical dilemmas such as ‘Is it ever okay to lie’.
A fond farewell to our amazing year 13 students and a huge thank you to all who attended and helped out. It’s natural to have fear about what’s coming next, it’s also natural to feel the joy that comes from knowing that the future belongs to you.

Many thanks to George Herrera from Nazarene Theological College for his talk to our Theology students about his journey that has taken him from California to Manchester, helping students consider opportunities this subject area may lead, in terms of both education and employment.
Theology students explored some of Manchester City Centre’s cultural highlights. It was wonderful to bump into ex-student Jacob at John Rylands; who gave Ms Tench and Mrs Maynard a glimpse into the stories behind the library’s copy of the Gutenberg Bible!
