We've just received this information from the DofE about the social value of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award in Hertfordshire:
Between 1 April 2025 and 31 March 2026 young people doing their DofE Award under the Services for Young People licence spent 17,2003 hours volunteering in their communities. The social value of these hours is an amazing £1,298,534!

SfYP staff were among the many #DofE leaders and volunteers who were invited to the 70th anniversary Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Award celebrations at Buckingham Palace in appreciation of the essential role they play in enabling the young people to achieve their awards.
