The beautiful HCH grounds in the morning sun was the perfect backdrop for the middle and upper years assembly. Inconming headmaster, Adrian Rainbow raised the energy levels for the start of the school day by leading the students in the ‘Rainbow Haka’.

Our students are enjoying Paris, learning all about the culture in French, a language in which many non-native speakers are now nearly fluent @HCHSchool

Year 5 and 6 visit the The Globe Theatre, Southbank and explore both the contemporary culture of London’s Southbank and the sixteenth century history of Shakespeare’s Globe.

26 students went to a Chinese restaurant in Thames Ditton to learn how to make spring rolls and dumplings. The rolling was strangely relaxing and a huge number of dumplings and spring rolls were made.

Over 130 pupils from years 5 to 13 and 40 staff took part in the annual Camp HCH. The much anticipated event, which took place on our grounds gave students a chance to get to bond in a relaxed atmosphere.

Year 9 thoroughly enjoyed their day out at the New Scientist Live Exhibition. They listened to talks from specialists in engineering, human sciences, technology and the cosmos as well as Tim Peake and Konni Huq. #nslive2019 #NewScientistLive
