The @UKMathsTrust Junior Maths Challenge is happening NOW-ish (depending where you live), so I'm running a free 1hr Zoom problem solving tutorial on Sunday 21/6 at 6pm. If your son/daughter is in Year 7 and taking the JMC, then sign up here. Max 100 places https://t.co/vrhVSeANSj
So happy to spend time with Year 12s in school today - they needed the interaction with a member of staff and we needed to know that they're doing ok.
Being online with them just isn't the same.
Great to see our Prep pupils back in school and enjoying seeing their friends π€Έ
Online lessons continue for the Seniors - some lovely examples of Proportion here from Amy D in Year 10
- Well done π
Violet has also gone above and beyond with the idea ... she created her own nail board and used wool to make parabolic curves. Fabulous!

@HCS_PrepHead
Inspired by the work done on parabolic curves and lines of pursuit in our Maths lessons, Arthur took it one step further at home and created these. Impressive!
@HullCollegiate @HCS_Maths
Harry has submitted his answer for the greater depth challenge βM, M and Mβ on the Nrich website today. Fingers crossed that it is published! @nrichmaths
