As part of their service project, 4th Grade GATE students at Rolling Hills assisted with guiding bookmobile tours for our younger grades! They helped students explore the mobile library and made the experience exciting and welcoming for all. 🚍📚

Rolling Hills 4th Grade GATE students kicked off their service learning project by presenting to Pre-K through 1st grade students about how to use the library! These young leaders practiced public speaking while helping our littlest learners become confident readers.

These two amazing students turned the BES Glow Dance into a giving opportunity! They collected cat food, litter, and toys for Cattyshack Inc.—a local feline rescue and adoption nonprofit at Lowe Mill—and delivered everything themselves! 🐾🎁 #BlossomwoodGATE

Third and fifth graders are teaming up for the Kindergarten Can Count service project! Students practiced teaching numbers 1–100 using a hundreds chart, role-playing as both teachers and kindergarteners to sharpen their skills! 🌟💬 #BlossomwoodGATE

Ridgecrest 4th grade GATE students are using MagicSchool AI to "chat" with notable African Americans from picture books! One group, inspired by Mae Among the Stars, asked Mae Jemison what she took to space—she brought a Harlem Ballet poster and a picture of Bessie Coleman! 🚀💫
