#teamHCSO arrested Marcello Hardrick, 45, a convicted felon, on more than 30 charges after a domestic violence call led detectives to nine firearms and a significant quantity of narcotics.
Through investigative means, detectives learned that a victim was battered by Hardrick, who then fired multiple shots from a pistol in the front yard of the residence. No persons or property were struck by gunfire.
After a search warrant, detectives recovered nine firearms and a quantity of narcotics, including methamphetamine, cocaine, and prescription medication.
“A man with eleven prior felony convictions had no business possessing a single firearm, let alone nine, along with a stockpile of narcotics,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “Our detectives did outstanding work turning a domestic violence call into the dismantling of a threat to our community. We will continue to seek out violent repeat offenders and work to get illegal guns and drugs off our streets.”

A traffic violation led to #teamHCSO deputies arresting two people on narcotics charges.

On September 19, 2026, just before 9 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle after observing it traveling in the wrong direction on North 15th Street near East Fletcher Avenue. During a search of the vehicle, deputies found narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and more than $1,200.

The driver, Willie Smith, 70, was arrested on narcotics charges, and a passenger, Sabrina Reddick, 36, was also arrested and charged on multiple drug-related charges.

Today, we honor the life and service of Deputy Mark A. Longway, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty on this day in 2010.

Deputy Longway was fatally injured in a motor vehicle crash.

A traffic stop for a tinted tag cover led to the discovery of a firearm and marijuana packaged for resale.

On September 18, 2026, just after 4 p.m., #teamHCSO deputies conducted a traffic stop on Eberneson Edmond, 28, near Bruce B. Downs Boulevard and Commerce Palm Drive for an improperly tinted tag cover.

During the traffic stop, Edmond admitted to having cannabis in the vehicle. A subsequent search revealed more than 100 grams of marijuana packaged in plastic bags and sealed in vacuum bags, along with a firearm and $1,500 in cash.

Edmond was arrested and charged with Possession of Cannabis With Intent to Sell, Manufacture, or Deliver; Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony; and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

A search warrant led to three arrests and the recovery of illegal drugs.

On September 17, 2026, around 12 p.m., #teamHCSO detectives served a search warrant at a Seffner home following an investigation into firearms and narcotics activity. Detectives recovered narcotics and drug paraphernalia, resulting in the arrest of Timothy Shamblin, 60, and Kristen Caroway, 37.

During the operation, detectives also learned that the primary subject of the investigation was at a nearby hotel. Just before 2 p.m., John Sattler II, 36, was arrested for felony warrants from Kentucky and West Virginia, as well as on drug charges. A search of the hotel room resulted in the recovery of narcotics.

A vehicle burglary reported at a Tampa apartment complex was solved quickly with #teamHCSO deputies detaining the suspects before they got away.

On September 17, 2026, just before 3:30 p.m., deputies responded to the Vista Palms Apartment Complex, where the victims told deputies the exact amount of cash stolen from the vehicle. They also stated the suspects had stolen a small black backpack.

Moments later, deputies located the two juveniles matching the descriptions and found cash nearby that matched the stolen denominations. The black backpack was also found behind a fence. Terrence Albury, 17, and Alberto Guerrero, 16, were both arrested and charged.

A traffic stop led to a fentanyl trafficking arrest.

On September 17, 2026, just before 11:30 a.m., teamHCSO conducted a traffic stop and observed a clear plastic bag containing a white powder in the driver’s wallet as she was getting out her license. The substance weighed 7.6 grams and tested positive for fentanyl.

The driver was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Fentanyl (4 to 14 Grams) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
