Before every trade I have a very simple 4 point checklist. This keeps me systematic and structured throughout the entirety of the trade.

1. What is the setup/thesis/entry point

2. What is my stop/invalidation/exit

3. What is my position sizing and account risk

4. Is there reasonable upside/asymmetric risk to reward

Once all of these are complete and thought out, I execute the trade and the rest is history. My job is mostly complete at this point. Last thing left to do is follow sell rules for exiting a winning trade.
