Ruto’s Special National Address felt so random and forced. You listen carefully, waiting for substance, but there’s no depth, no value, no direction. Just a lot of words that amount to nothing. Pure nonsense
It almost feels like this administration needed something to dominate the headlines because the numbers are down. Total waste of time
Fellow citizens…WANTAM!
This SACCO alleged 'fake news story" looks like a badly run government experiment, where someone released a very specific idea into the public space, watched Kenyans panic, then ran back to call it fake news after the reaction became hotter than expected.
If this was a communication mistake, it was reckless, and if it was a test balloon, it failed badly, because Kenyans have made it clear that government should keep its hands away from SACCO funds, M-Pesa balances, bank deposits, pensions and every private shilling citizens still control.
In 2016, during a pre-season trip to Seattle, a young Declan Rice was handed the No. 41 shirt by West Ham’s kitman. With the lower squad numbers already taken by senior players, academy prospects were typically given higher numbers.
Rice made his senior debut wearing No. 41, kept it throughout his rise at West Ham, and when he joined Arsenal in 2023, he chose to keep the number, prompting the club to make a rare exception to its usual squad number policy.
But why did he choose to keep the number 41 shirt and why bring up No. 41 today?
Because, ladies and gentlemen, it has been 41 days since Arsenal won the league title.

Parliament has invited your views on the Turkana Oil FDP that we are considering currently. You should pay attention because this is Ruto’s biggest scandal yet.
1. The ownership of the Company that is to produce the oil (Gulf Energy, Formerly Tullow) changed names and hands multiple times in a matter of weeks. Days even. Your lawyer will tell you thats symptomatic of attempts to mask real ownership. It is telling that the current FDP was approved by government days after the last ownership changes.
2. The Original production contract has been varied a million times. Most notably on 25th November 2025 just days after the last ownership changes, to raise the maximum recoverable cost for petroleum production from the initial 55% to 85%. Kenyans will never see any real benefit from that oil.
3. On the same day Clause 27(2)(b) was amended to expand the definition of capital
expenditure to include expenditure on labour, fuel, repairs, maintenance,
hauling, mobilisation and supplies and materials relating to production,
development, exploration and appraisal and decommissioning costs. We may basically never see a coin from our oil.
4. Crucially, we in the Senate passed the Local Content bill which requires the oil company to utilize locally available resources including labour and supplies. They have cleverly made the current agreement with Gulf exempt from such legislation.
We don’t have leaders. We have dealers in government who don’t care about anything other than themselves.
The people of Kikuyu need to understand that their legislator @KIMANIICHUNGWAH is the face of every punitive bill that has turned into law to help the oppressor repress the citizens more and hold on to more power.

Today I will remind us of the Assumptions of Office of President & Transition of Executive Authority Bill, 2025.
@shobanes told us about it earlier in the year. And yes, it was already ascended into law.
In simple terms, this is a new Kenyan law (officially the Assumption of the Office of President and Transition of Executive Authority Act, 2025) that acts like a "rulebook" for handing over power from one president to the next.
It spells out exactly how the swearing-in ceremony happens, who does what during the handover, and how to avoid chaos if the outgoing president can't show up.
Most important is that the person announced as president by IEBC immediately has presidential powers and authority before swearing in.
Kenya already had some rules on this from the 2010 Constitution (Article 141, which says the president-elect takes office by swearing an oath) and an older law called the Assumption of the Office of President Act of 2012.
That 2012 law focused mostly on the ceremony—like handing over a symbolic sword (for the president's role as military commander) and a copy of the Constitution from the outgoing leader.
When being sworn in, the power thirsty @WilliamsRuto
Felt and accused the outgoing side of dragging their feet—not providing full briefings, security details, or cooperation. It felt messy and risked instability according to them.
To fix this, the government started working on an upgrade in late 2024. Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi pushed for it, saying the country needed stronger rules to protect the economy, safety, and democracy during power shifts.
The goal? Make transitions "seamless" no matter what— even if the old president dies, refuses to hand over, or is abroad.
But here is the catch,
The president elect announced will have full authority as president before swearing in. Of importance is to note the special mention of access to police and control of machinery of violence.
At the same time, the dispute resolution period was pushed from 14-21Days.
Now imagine what will happen if @WilliamsRuto is declared President elect in 2027 and we contest it? He will order our killing by the police and he will rob the coffers dry.
In short, the KK Regime from the word go came in with a plan to stay in power.
They have never cared about you.

Affordable houses are being built on public land and therefore it is ILLEGAL to sell them to private individuals. When power changes, we will RECOVER those houses and give them back to the public. No Kenyan should waste his money buying those houses.
Kenya is set to roll out the HIV prevention injection Lenacapavir from 2027, priced at Sh2,585 per dose for so-called “low-income” populations. The move stems from a partnership between the Gates Foundation and India’s Hetero Labs, aimed at providing a cheaper alternative to the original drug developed by Gilead Sciences.
Yet, the involvement of Bill Gates in this rollout raises serious questions about credibility and public trust. While framed as a low-cost breakthrough, skepticism remains over motives, safety assurances, and why critical health interventions in Africa often arrive packaged with outside influence rather than homegrown solutions.
