Lets Talk About ✨️Burnout✨️
We need to take it seriously. It should be treated like a medical illness with how dehibilitating it gets.
A few things that ACTUALLY helps recover from burnout:
🔸️Lower the bar on purpose. Not “do your best,” but intentionally do less. Shorter streams, simpler games, or even just chatting. Give yourself permission for “good enough” to be the goal for now.
🔸️Remove decision pressure. If choosing a game feels overwhelming, make it easy. Rotate 2–3 comfort games, or even let your chat decide. Burnout makes decisions feel heavier than they are.
🔸️Shift from creating to consuming. Watch streams, play games privately, listen to music etc. Refill your creative tank without the expectation of turning it into content.
🔸️Take a real break if you need it. Even a few days of fully unplugging can do more than weeks of forcing yourself through low-energy streams. You'll come back more inspired too!
🔸️Be careful with nostalgia comparisons. Previous productivity came from a different mental state. You’re not “worse” now, you’re just in a recovery phase that version of you didn’t need at the time.
If you were sick, you'd take a break to recover. Burnout is just like treating a cold, just without the runny nose.
