Vol 9 is also a good change of pace from the rest of the series, and the story gets a little better here.

Nothing exceptionally fantastic like the fall of beacon, but worth a watch if you’re already on vol 7.

I see them as the toys companies used to make and made shows to sell the merch. People usually watch the show first in most cases before they want to buy the toy.

@gaygerbils @AnaMagSL @EvilNickase I wouldn’t call it a huge impact at all. It’s sort of something that can be dropped and replaced with a number of other mental health problems and have a very similar impact plot wise. I see most people confuse it with baseline toxic masculinity.

@turbomander Honestly all you need to do is play a decently long playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077 to get the vibe and feel of the city as well as getting more intimate with each of the areas within night city.

After that, just read the setting book for either 2020/Red depending on your game

Despite not being related at all, it also works as a perfect dichotomy to The Infinite and the Divine, reading them both provides such a great insight into Necron society as a whole.

@RadiArts Red's got its own problems, but I still prefer it to the old 2020 system, that one just feels like it hates you personally as a player.

I think the d10 system format is holding it back, I feel a d100 system would allow for the complexity and granularity that cyberware wants.

I wouldn't call them completely another from each other, the same way Ra isnt completely different from like Atum

As it is here, while I'm not a big fan of the design, it certainly leans more Lion than Cow.

I'd be cool if there was a plot point to get her drunk to turn into Hathor though.

She's meant to embody his wrath, while her sister Eye of Ra, Bastet, embodies his protection.

They also needed to deal with Sekhmet by getting her drunk off her ass on wine to turn into Hathor. The Ancient Egyptians then celebrated that every year via orgy

@LuaPuhiana Sekhmet is one of my favorite Egyptian gods, so I'm particularly disappointed she's kind of lackluster. Her design looks kind of incoherent and even without the lion head, I don't feel much of her design invokes a lion at all. I'd be hard pressed to say who it is without knowing.
