Participated in a great Train The Trainer session today. We are ready to empower our colleagues to use protocols within every lesson in order to engage all of our students! @HealthEdTech1@mckaygroup@EastRamapoCSD
Today our students participated in the Take a Stand Protocol from Expeditionary Learning. We used it to discuss important issues within our Human Sexuality Unit. #engagedstudents@EastRamapoCSD@HealthEdTech1
“I believe that if we focus on helping our students become great learners, they will be fine on the tests. But if we help students become good at tests, that doesn’t mean they have become good learners.” https://t.co/3n0um9Bm1x
Kicking off our Sex Ed unit with a friendly game of Battle of the Sexes. Students create questions to ask the opposite sex. It is a great way to informally asses what our students know and what they need to learn! @HealthEdTech1@RamapoHS
What a great few days spent at #NYSAHPERD19 I created a share drive so that we can all have access to the resources for the sessions we missed! Please feel free to add to it and share it! https://t.co/NzUkjBqoip

Humor in our classroom is not only healthy but also helps our students relieve stress and retain more information. We love humor at all times in our health classes but we love it a little more @ the end of the year when our students seem a little extra stressed. @EastRamapoCSD
