...I’d like to give you an example of this man’s heart and how he gave back to a community ravaged by tragedy. When Houston was struck by Hurricane Harvey, Ronny organized a crew to assist getting people affected by
flooding from their homes.

Our #GiftofHearing winner from Marble Falls, Roy Atkinson! Roy's life is filled with making visual memories with his children and grandchildren. However, he was missing out on auditory memories.

Hearing his grandchildren's names being announced at events and missing meaningful conversations like hearing, "I love you grandpa!" His life has not only been affected by the loss of hearing, but by the other affects like depression, dementia, and loss of balance.
