The ‘everyone is 12’ thing is overplayed but “We should give soldiers steroids so they get more stronger and gooder at fighting bad guys” is such a uniquely childish fucking stupid idea that it could have only come from this administration
Breathing in hefty lungfuls of smoke as I get explosive diarrhea from salad, the sky turns apocalyptic orange while oil companies drill in protected lands, screwworms are eating cattle alive and the president just paid $6 million for rape. And I’m also able to bet on all of it!
There’s worms in the beef and there is poop on the lettuce and tomato. Cheese isn’t real and the ketchup gives you cancer. They’ve ruined the burger. And we just watched.
genuinely cannot believe that the Diarrhea Forever meme turned out to be completely literal. this political era simply cannot be parodied or satirized. the stupidest thing you can think of can and will happen.
Movies still come on Blu-ray, music is still pressed on vinyl and books still fill store shelves. But as Sony moves to phase out physical PlayStation releases, many gamers are asking why video games should be the first major entertainment medium to go all digital. https://t.co/FagoUG3JVU
Virtually every fish in one of Arizona’s largest lakes has died after the reservoir fell to less than 1% of its capacity.
This spring, the mountain snow that feeds the reservoir reached just 2% of its normal level. With almost no inflow, the lake shrank dramatically, the water overheated, oxygen levels collapsed, and nearly 100% of the fish suffocated.
But drought wasn’t the only reason.
Even as the reservoir was collapsing, water continued flowing downstream to supply farms under agreements written decades ago, when a snowpack collapse this severe was considered unthinkable.
The ecosystem kept losing water while the climate that sustained it had already changed.
The rules were built for a world that no longer exists.
Climate change isn’t only testing ecosystems. It’s testing the systems we built to manage them.

They want you to believe your voice doesn't matter.
Yet in just the last few days:
-LAPD canceled its Flock contract.
-Meta cancelled Muse Image AI after privacy outrage.
-One of the largest planned U.S. data centers was killed (PW Digital Gateway) by local opposition.
The surveillance state isn't inevitable.
It advances when people are apathetic.
It retreats when people fight back.
Public pressure works. Keep pushing.
