A surprise prequel to The Bear is now streaming on Hulu!! 🤯

An hour-long prequel episode titled "Gary" just dropped on Hulu. Written and produced by Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Jon Bernthal, it follows their characters, Richie and Michael, as they go on a trip to Gary, Indiana. The episode takes place before the events of season 1 of The Bear.

Ebon announced the episode on his Instagram, saying, "COUSINS! PRIMOS! CUGINI!!! Get ready for GARY!!!! We are so excited to finally share this little adventure with Richie and Mikey. Written by me and @jonnybernthal . Directed by the one Christopher Storer. Making this was a dream come true. Thanks to the beautiful people of Gary, Indiana and as always Chicago, Illinois. Search “Gary” in HULU to watch."

Season 5 of The Bear is expected to hit Hulu in June 2026.

Jessi Draper says Dakota Mortensen told her he was going to sell the video to TMZ to embarrass Taylor Frankie Paul. 😦

Yesterday Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen returned to court for a hearing about custody of their 2-year-old son, Ever.

The hearing revealed that Taylor's Secret Lives of Mormon Wives castmate, Jessi Draper, said in an affidavit that Dakota was plotting to humiliate Taylor. Jessi came home while Dakota was in a conversation with her estranged husband, Jordan Ngatikaura. According to Taylor's attorney, Eric Swinyard:

“He told [Draper] that he was going to take matters into his own hands and embarrass Taylor...He specifically told Ms. Draper that he planned on leaking embarrassing videos of Taylor to the press, starting with the barstool video. He specifically named TMZ as the outlet, and a few days later, that exact video was released by TMZ."

Dakota's attorney denied that Dakota said this.

Taylor's attorney argued this is important because “Our point with the video is that he's not just trying to come after her for custody... He's not just trying to seek a protective order; he wants to literally destroy her. He wants to subject her and her family to a new round of torment.”

West Wilson's cousin was arrested for murdering their grandma. 😵‍💫

The night before the Summer House reunion filmed, April 22, police in Carroll County Missouri responded to gunshots and found Gayle R. Wilson dead in her home.

They arrested West's cousin and the victim's grandson, 28-year-old Dakota Sweeney, and charged him with first degree murder and armed criminal action. He is currently being held without bond.

From what TMZ is reporting, it seems Dakota was living with his grandparents and they had fought about him not doing enough chores.

Her obituary says, "Gayle lived a life marked by creativity, kindness, and cherished moments" and says she "found joy in shaping the world around her."

"Gayle was an artist at heart. Known for her quilting every Thursday with her church friends, Gayle was accomplished in sewing, embroidery, and even the delicate art of stained glass, with pieces featured in a Nevada casino. Her talents extended to photography and rendering stunning images in charcoal and pencil. Gayle also had a proud accomplishment of single-handedly restoring a Volkswagen Bug's engine during her high school years."

Mrs. Wilson is survived by her husband of 50 years, Roger. She had four children and seven grandchildren, including West and Dakota.

Lindsay Hubbard brought the heat on Watch What Happens Live!

The Summer House cast mate confirms she was activated at the reunion and even Andy got sick of her trying to nail down the timeline of the West and Amanda scandal. Bailey Taylor was also on and they discussed a bizarre February 28th event where Amanda was making out with Kyle but eventually went home with West.

Lindsay said, "Imagine using your husband as a decoy for your boyfriend" to a stunned Andy Cohen.

Other details:

Lindsay says boy West and Amanda texted her after the reunion but she has been busy attending Stagecoach all week/weekend and hasn't responded. She's not sure if she will.

She says she believes Amanda and West's relationship started as an emotional affair last summer and we are seeing the evidence on Summer House season 10. However, she didn't suspect anything at the time. Lindsay didn't believe the rumors when they started and was shocked when she found out.

Lindsay is pissed that West used her baby as a cover story. When the rumors first started, West posed a photo of himself and Ciara hanging out with Lindsay and her baby, Gemma. The implication was "Ciara and I are hanging out so obviously the rumors aren't true". She brought this up at the reunion, so we might get to see this fight play out.

Lindsay says she and Amanda got "very, very, very, very" close last fall while filming In the City. Lindsay is very disappointed in her.

Bailey said that Carl WAS a mess but he is doing good!

Also, Lindsay wore a HORSE HAIR TIE from West's alleged ex-girlfriend, the artist Meija Moreno. If you know, you know. 😉

Someone leaked audio from the Summer House reunion that taped yesterday. It shows Ciara Miller and Kyle Cooke confronting Amanda Batula, while she defends her relationship with West Wilson ("You can't choose who you love"). West is pretty silent. 

Here is the full transcript:

Kyle Cooke: "That's what seems so fraudulent."

Ciara Miller: "Literally your MO."

Kyle Cooke: "You can be the complete shmuck that you are, but everyone else has a completely different interpretation of the relationship than you."

Mia Calabrese: “You went from being married, and I'm not saying your relationship was perfect but you went from being married to being one of West’s side b*****. That’s crazy. This is unnecessary.”

West Wilson: "The statement came out incredibly rushed because of how insane it all became."

Ciara Miller: "You got smoked out."

Amanda Batula: "No, there was a video that was out there and the last thing I wanted was for us to continue denying it and for this video of me taken in a very vulnerable, intimate situation to be used as blackmail or released publicly."

Lindsay Hubbard: "So how long were you denying it?"

Amanda Batula: "I don't know what the video was."

Ciara Miller: "Were you going to say anything if the video didn't come out?"

Amanda Batula: "1000% But if..."

KJ Dillard: “Where was the apology for Ciara in the statement?”

Ciara Miller: “I sent you a text message and I asked you when the rumors came out. Is this true? You were like, no."

Amanda Batula: "And I denied it. And I 100% denied it and I lied to you.”

Andy Cohen: "Why did you deny it?"

Amanda Batula: "Because it was all so new and I was figuring it out. There were so many layers and complications to this. The fact he was seeing other people. The fact that I was technically still married..."

Carl Radke: "You didn't look at those complications and layers and think 'What the f*** are we doing? Period."

Ciara Miller: "Right."

Amanda Batula: "We talked about it."

Ciara Miller: “So it was so conscious that you guys talked about it. It wasn’t just like a drunk hookup. You guys talked about it.”

Amanda Batula: “No. It all started with..."

Ciara Miller: "You thought about how weird it would be and you still did it. You chose to do it."

Amanda Batula: "Okay but guess what? Sometimes you can’t help who you like and who you are attracted to."

Ciara Miller: "You actually can help it.”

Amanda Batula: "Not from what you said."

Ciara Miller: "You actually can help it."

Amanda Batula: “I wasn’t married anymore, Ciara.”

Ciara Miller: “You’re legally still married. By the state of New York. You’re still f****** married.”

Amanda Batula: “So I’m sorry. But when I’m separated from someone, I have to stay celibate and single for the rest of my life?”

Ciara Miller: “Nobody was saying that you need to stay celibate or what the f*** ever. But there are a million other guys in New York City. And you know how much that f***** me up. You chose the one guy."

Amanda Batula: "I didn't choose."

Ciara Miller: "You’re a snake, Amanda. You're a snake in the f***** grass is what you are."

Amanda Batula: "That is..."

Ciara Miller: "You're a snake in the f****** grass and you should honestly just say okay because you know you are. You move silent. But you’re f****** deadly.”
