Our first trailer is live! "Witch" has come a long way and we have even further to go but we're proud of the work we've done and can't wait to show even more of what we have to offer! #indiedev#gamedev#jrpg#indiegamedev

Still hard at work, and have a lot to show for it! Give us a little more time before our next major release of information, we're getting a lot done and focusing on Tokyo Game Show, but we'll showcase more soon!
We're hard at work getting a demo done up for Tokyo Game Show 2022 and we're proud to announce it will also be available to the public once we're done! For now, here's a preview of some of what we've been working on:
@b0tster Ask me how I know you posted something on Twitter that pissed people off. If you guessed "someone DMed me to demand I fire you" then you win a prize.
That prize is me not firing you. You win. Hooray.
We know people have been patiently waiting on updates, and I was ready to post the devlog, then realized there's a few key things we need to add in. So instead, we're posting the boss battle music early!
After we finished the most recent devlog, a few cool things came up and I wanted to include them, so expect it in a few days. In the meantime, we decided to release this early: the Boss Battle music for our WITCH!

@jakefriend_dev Long story short, the wording was clearly designed to get me not only to sign over my IP entirely but then be indefinitely bound to the company or they keep everything and I have no further access to my own creation.
Devs, if you can, have contract lawyers check your contracts.
@jakefriend_dev Also, if they offered me a terrible contract for any future games and I turned them down, I'd also lose full rights. Instantly.
Beyond that, they would have rights to use the IP to make further games if it was successful. They had every right to make a mobile gacha game.
@EmilyEMeo It's my downtime go-to. As long as you don't have any serious issues with MMO addiction, it's worth a go. Story is pretty solid, free trial gives you tons and tons and tons of content (I won't repeat the oft-repeated meme)...there's even FF Tactics related content.
