Today I was offered my very first staff nurse post!!
All the better that it was the exact place I left to study all those years ago.

Today I've submitted my last essay of uni! The kids have been absolute superstars and so understanding of me needing time on my laptop, so to celebrate we got ice cream after school. So proud of them and it's even more heartwarming that they are so proud of me.

So stressed about everything just now, but knowing in less than a year its going to all be over is pulling me through. In less than a year I'll be a staff nurse and defo have a life back. The stress of always having uni work to do, working, alongside placements will soon be over

Our day yesterday did not go as planned! Should have been in Haggerston Castle, MG had other plans, instead we got an afternoon at @StJohns_ED and an evening in the childrens ward. Despite being as busy as they were, we were seen promptly, and the staff were brilliant.

70% of NHS confidential waste is patient name bands/label printed the wrong way or on normal paper instead of label paper and you can't convince me otherwise
