Classic conmen chase money, power, and easy living.
Joseph Smith chose persecution, mobs, prison, and death rather than deny his testimony.

That is a terrible conman and a much better prophet.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted. We had a great Sunday at church. We’ve been good. I can testify that following Christ leads to peace. Even during stressful times, Christ offers rest. I bear testimony that Jesus Christ makes life worth living. I also testify that the best way to have a relationship with Christ is through covenants. The only church that offers covenants through the priesthood, is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. So, if your life is lacking meaning… come to Christ. If your relationship with Christ seems to not be progressing… go to the temple. #LDSx

I was not always a mother who knew.

In fact, I remember bristling at this part of Sis. Beck's talk.

I was a young mother of three small, busy boys, and the last thing I wanted to be told was that my role in the grand plan of happiness was to do dishes and laundry.

If I only knew then what I know now.

What I know now is how truly important it is for a mother to be home with her children.

That the "mundane" tasks of motherhood actually refine a woman.

That serving your family only increases your love for them.

That there is nothing more beneficial for your children than cultivating and creating a home where they are safe, loved and taught the principles of the gospel.

That what the world offers is only a distraction from what's most important.

I'd love to say that I'm now perfect at doing the dishes, the laundry and keeping my home.

I am not.

But I no longer feel like those tasks are a burden. I see them as a meaningful and important contribution to the most important thing in all of time and eternity...my family.
