I don't know what the stats are but I have noticed the land border at Hill Island and Ogdensburg super busy lately coming into the US. Even busy at the airport coming back to Canada to the other day from the US.

Every single time I feel like they are getting more relaxed. Same with entering the US. It was much more rigid before Trump and felt more secure.

Just got home from a quick trip to the states.Went over to return a pair of shoes. Spent 1.5 there and bought only hair elastics. The Canadian border agent asked me if I was alone, my citizenship and what I was bringing back.That's it! Not if I had weapons, alcohol or tobacco.
