@UHC I have spent an hour trying to get an answer to a dental appeal we sent two months ago. I was transferred 4 times and then hung up on. We have written more appeals due to unfounded denials this year than we have written to any insurance in over 30 years of practicing.
@Cigna Now today, you have “closed the file” on a pre auth that you are saying you requested info on and we never gave it to you. In our notes, we called on Feb 24th 2023 and gave all info you were requesting AND I have a reference number. What a joke!
@Cigna has the ABSOLUTE worst customer service for dental. We get constant form letters requesting info we have already given on claims. We have to call, wait on hold, give the exact same info you already have.
@askUHC Heather Christie at Dr Chet ray Coleman’s office in utah. The DM will not allow me to send you our information- please reach out to our office phone at 801-966-9956. I’m so frustrated and upset—now on the phone with the 9th rep I’ve been transferred to.
@askUHC@UHC I am a provider. Been on the phone for hours trying to get to the Medicare Dental Appeals Dept. Been transferred 7 times and given the following numbers without getting to the correct sept yet. 8009509355, 8778423210, 8442758750, 8006434845, 8778163596, 8666334454, &
@uhc@askuhc 8003485548. Talking to preferred care partners now, not even a part of UHC. If anyone monitoring this account knows the phone number, email, insta, FB, Snapchat or twitter handle to the Medicare dental appeals dept, for the love of god, help me. This is a JOKE🤬😡🥵

@PandRDental Your company costs the providers more time, which equals more money due to your gross incompetence, poor policies and poor CS. Your Welcome
@PandRDental EVERY time this has happened to the providers I work with, we have wasted more time having to get a peer to peer, etc to discuss denial and EVERY time it has been reversed in the providers favor.
@PandRDental your “dental consultants” (I use this term loosely) must be paid by the percentage of the $ amt of the claims they deny. When the images clearly state reasoning for tx, providers still get denial for reasons that don’t match the images.
@PandRDental Your requirement for providers to resubmit every claim w/ attachments (after they have already submitted it to your client) when you should be getting this info from YOUR client is egregious. It’s double the work for the providers. United HealthCare should fire you
@PandRDental you have the absolute worst CS for providers. They sound apathetic and miserable. I’m sure it’s due to all the providers you piss off that call in and yell at them for your poor policies. Pull a call once in a while if you have questions as to what I’m referring to
“Often you have to be willing to walk away from the unsupportive ppl who don't get you, in order to make room in your life for the ppl you need to show up.”Powerful reminder that it’s better to live your truth rather than trying to please others out of fear of not being accepted.
