ABC News exclusively reports that the woman involved in the Justice Department investigation into sex trafficking allegations against Rep. Matt Gaetz sat for multiple days of testimony in front of the House Ethics Committee and testified that Gaetz had sex with her when she was a minor in high school at age 17.

The House Ethics Committee also subpoenaed Gaetz's former girlfriend for testimony and obtained a sworn written statement where she lists Gaetz as one of the attendees at a party in July 2017, where dugs were present and which was attended by the woman who Gaetz allegedly had sex with when she was a minor. Gaetz was already an elected member of Congress at the time.

The House ethics Committee also obtained written testimony from another woman who said that she was at a party in July of 2017 in Florida that Gaetz attended, which was also attended by the woman who was a minor at the time and where drugs, including cocaine, were present.

Another woman told the committee that she was paid by Gaetz for sex. Gaetz has long denied all of the allegations, but the committee subpoenaed the company Venmo and obtained records of some payments made by Gaetz.
