I'll give up soon

[HeavenSmile @HeavenSperm]

@dondadaew "Armament perquisites" lmao, the things you people make up in your heads that turn out false don't count man

[HeavenSmile @HeavenSperm]

@GhostlyNest @luiseatscomics Now every once in a while, we must hear him scream into the stars about Jean and Cyclops years later. So essentially one of the biggest moments for the character is born out of editorial infighting, and now everyone must deal with it because it's canon

[HeavenSmile @HeavenSperm]

@GhostlyNest @luiseatscomics https://t.co/lAKH7KiwdS
tldr: He wanted the character to retire post Dark Phoenix, he was not allowed to do so because comics (duh). The result was Scott leaving maddy (A sort of "fuck you" comprise to said refusal). Simonson tries to salvage the BS, Claremont says "I no likey"

[HeavenSmile @HeavenSperm]

@ShinDarkBoy @summerskyrender Based gatekeeping disengager. If it's not for you, don't read, vert simple.

[HeavenSmile @HeavenSperm]

@ThomasC29008175 @milkydraws8 Dust, Xorn, fantomex and more recently Ransom! I'll try to think of more.

[HeavenSmile @HeavenSperm]

@yakkubukhan Lol Classic reply last then block. Anyway, the lesson here I guess if you're gonna take people art, defile it with code you don't even understand and can't guarantee, then distribute said art, at least be honest and own up to it like the rest of us. I also wanna play tk6 bro.

[HeavenSmile @HeavenSperm]

@yakkubukhan neither is netcode design in video games, so how come that one is ok? Writing requires you to writer, words have meaning. If you haven't written anything in a piece of art, you are not a writer. For that reason, any changes made to writing are by definition changes to art.

[HeavenSmile @HeavenSperm]

@yakkubukhan "Not every part of art is art" is an oxymoron. I thought you said flaws are part of art and that art has no defects? A filmmaker films equipment in a set and you prerogative is to correct it? A writer makes a typo and writes sculptress instead of sculpture and Claude fixes it?

[HeavenSmile @HeavenSperm]

@yakkubukhan @alcratz by your definition and literally third sentence, netcode is part of game and is a flaw, and thus is part of the art in question.

[HeavenSmile @HeavenSperm]

@yakkubukhan @alcratz sculpture *

[HeavenSmile @HeavenSperm]

@yakkubukhan @alcratz so if a painting a symphony or a sculptress have technical imperfections, am I allowed to AI those technical shortcoming away and still claim to be anti AI art?

[HeavenSmile @HeavenSperm]

@yakkubukhan @alcratz Again if I take a painting with some kinda of technical limitation, whether it's perspective or something else then "fixed" it with AI. Then later on when asked what my stance is for AI use, I screamed "do not let ai take over creative processes", I'm a delusional person.

[HeavenSmile @HeavenSperm]

@yakkubukhan @alcratz Paper and pencils are not self-actionable. Making changes to art then redistributing that art in its new form is the same as replacing it. It's one thing to try to bypass technical limitations you can not do yourself to experience something better but it's still hypocritical

[HeavenSmile @HeavenSperm]

@yakkubukhan @alcratz Imagine I get a painting, make AI do changes to it that I prefer that take both effort and vision to implement. Now I disturbed this version of the painting to other like minded people as a "x way of experiencing the painting". Then after this, I chant "Fuck AI!"

[HeavenSmile @HeavenSperm]

@yakkubukhan @alcratz The game is art yes? The mod as you describe, is bunch of code generated by AI to make playable online yes? Online functionality affects gameplay yes? If we agreed that gameplay is art then in what world can you logically compare a pencil to cohesive part of artistic product?

[HeavenSmile @HeavenSperm]

@yakkubukhan @alcratz lol your pencil is not making any creative part of the painting for you by itself. Claude is.

[HeavenSmile @HeavenSperm]

@yakkubukhan @alcratz Also cooking itself is a utility, so if the artform includes cooking as per the definition, then by your logic, cooking is not art either

[HeavenSmile @HeavenSperm]

@yakkubukhan @alcratz paintings are not art, the holistic process around them are. That's an artist can make a painting then destroy it at the end of its creation. See how easy it is to make meaningless connections between things.

[HeavenSmile @HeavenSperm]

@yakkubukhan @alcratz > Culinary arts is a broad term that refers to the preparation, cooking, plating, presentation, and service of food.

So I guess painting is art, paintings are not, gotcha
