@realcatsalmon I wouldnt say dedicate, but play for a week-two for sure, yeah. It has lots of fun elements, but i (mostly) do not look at it like "poe", but "dark fantasy arpg". Helps with the bad parts of the game 🤣

Hello @NeverSinkDev , got a question about POE2 filters and skill gems - the customizer doesnt show any skill gems that drop at all, unless i enable the "other lower skill gems", even though the upper 2 for 19/20 are enabled. Am I doing something wrong or am I missing sth? Thanks

@NeverSinkDev Poe2 has major pacing problems. To do the entire atlas for points (incl bonus), on a 10min/map build you would need at least 40 hours OF MAPPING.
Maps need 50% size reduction or the game will be a full-time job to play.

Many other issues with bosses resetting zones 1 portal etc.

game's actually very good in campaign, when you play a proper skill.

Point: Bad scaling skill to level = long level times and rage. 1/x

Conclusion:
Choose your freaking skill/set wisely, so you don't have a really bad time like I did with the first build & GGG please buff the underperformers by a good chunk.
GLance NEEDS that ricochet 3 back or some other way to make it chain.

Time for a #poe2 rant. 17hr campaign, 15hr "mapping progression" later
Dropped 85ex, 2div, earned ~150 ex (and "crafted" gear for lv 78-80+)
Could not level past level 77 due to multiple factors:
1. Game PUSHES you to go higher tier maps with levels
2. Game PUNISHES you for 1/x

@lolcohol You're absolutely right. I wanted to like it since it got released and gotten better over time, but it's getting more and more difficult to do so with my own builds. I'm just a stupid sucker for cosmetics so i play something i dislike for the game that i like XD

I'll just be picking a meta build and get my challenges... OR give up on challenges entirely (i only play poe2 for cosmetic rewards for poe1 at this point)

Build can clear maps but when you're 1-2 levels away from great upgrades, you kind of want to wait on investing more currently.

Yes, build sucks, I've tried making Glance work for multiple seasons and it has been GARBAGE LANCE.

@AndyJChi I did this and crafted multiple pieces exactly this way. I also did the highest base (80) just to give myself an extra oomph, but the exp generation slaughtered me.

@AndyJChi I've "crafted" (read: gambled) plenty. It is garbage, it shouldn't be called crafting in any way/shape or form.
