Activision/Infinity Ward misunderstands why people liked Ghost in the OG MW2. It was because he was a quiet, efficient badass with a skullmask, who sometimes said a funny quip. This while still being a side character.

The ending of World at War is GENERATIONAL. Watching Reznov cut the nazi flag and then seeing Dmitri planting the soviet flag despite getting shot and listening his heart beats harder and the epic score is just..... crème de la crème.
We are NEVER getting another masterpiece like WaW.

World at War make sure to let you know that War ain't cool or awesome, it's a real-life horror that can change the trajectory of the world with it's loading screens alone, where you witness people getting killed, burnt or hanged. It is unapologetic and brutal, which is icing on the cake considering how much horror-like the russian portion of the campaign can be.

Reach's portrayal of war is so perfect

Cat was a Spartan, super-human with countless battles under her belt and probably killed thousands of Covenant single-handedly and all it took was for her to drop her guard once and a bit of bad luck and boom, dead.

Completely unceremonious, no heroic blaze of glory just sniped mid-sentence. You don't even need any of the Spartan's to say anything, the way Noble 6 grabs her magnum and instantly starts firing along with everyone else like their IMMEDIATE instinct was to get back for their girl.

The final shot at the end of a burning New Alexandria with Carter carrying Cat's body while the music kicks in, no words needed to be said an no faces had to be shown, you know exactly how these guys are feeling.

Samus's chest plate is very bulky and her shoulder pads are huge. This creates a problem when she reaches forward. The usual solution is to simply let the shoulder pads and arms clip through, but here is a more practical solution featured in my design.
