"Ecos desde el Azulado Prado" retrata la historia de Itzel Pérez Carballo, egresada de la Facultad de Ciencias Biológicas y Agropecuarias de la Universidad Veracruzana Región Poza Rica- Tuxpan, la primera bióloga marina mexicana en formar parte del proyecto Gulf Listen del Scripps Institution of Oceanography en EU, dedicado al monitoreo acústico de cetáceos en el Golfo de México.

El documental ofrece una mirada profunda a su labor científica, su vínculo con el océano y su papel como pionera en un campo dominado históricamente por investigadores extranjeros.

"Ecos desde el azulado prado" de Héctor Hernández, egresado de la Especialización en Estudios Cinematográficos de la UV, ha sido seleccionado en 100 festivales nacionales e internacionales de cine y ganado más de una docena de premios.

Hace unos días fue galardonado en el congreso Diálogos Culturales del MediaForum, celebrado en la ciudad de San Petersburgo, Rusia.

So the EP has been out for a couple of days now. I’ve been slightly overwhelmed and caught off guard by some of the messages I’ve received about the whole thing. I’m so overjoyed and appreciative that people are listening and making a connection with it. Mental health can be all-encompassing, and I genuinely believe music and art can pave a pathway forward for people. It certainly won’t solve your problems, but it will absolutely hold your hand and comfort you. If you’re suffering or unsure if you’re suffering, try to reach out to others. My first EP, ‘Terra Incognita,’ is out via the ever-wonderful @CastlesInSpace on 19/07/24. The six-track vinyl will be released in two 12” heavyweight vinyl editions. 200 copies of the red version will be available from the Castles In Space Bandcamp store and will include a CD featuring the original demo versions of each track. 200 copies of the green version will be available from all other retail stores and will include a signed and numbered film photo print.

Terra Incognita started life as the building blocks that were supposed to form a full album, but its musical journey seemed to reach a natural end. Life changed, and it felt dishonest to try and squeeze more out of its concept. I won’t go into it all now, but I’ll give more of an explanation about what the EP is in a video at some point, while manhandling some copies to show off, as it does look pretty sweet in real life.
