Commissions Sometimes Open! Just ask!
2am Crackfic Concepts: New Erotic Jack and the Beanstalk Retelling: Jack gets ovi-fucked by a magic anthro goose that lays golden eggs in him, When he births them and tries to hide his shame by burying them, the beanstalk grows. #whyisthismybrain I partly blame @leggyfae tbh.
@fishgrayson@nuttinonice I asked the Abuse & Policy people and got told today this info is still current & "This is a commission for (person)" is allowed so that's what I'm sticking with, personally? Ymmv, it's always worth asking them yourself through the report system? But that was what I got told! 🤷♂️
@fishgrayson@nuttinonice That's so weird? I know the kofi mention in itself will get you a flag? But they've clarified in the past that their stance on the TOS is that saying "this is a commission" is fine.
@fishgrayson@nuttinonice From the OTW's official tumblr page:
"It is acceptable to mention something like “This work was commissioned by Mary Sue,” but creators should not link directly to their fundraising pages or solicit donations on the Archive." -source: https://t.co/FgP4ZAtOOl
@fishgrayson@nuttinonice It took me a few days to get on PC to Look This Up, but I knew I looked it up once before putting it in my commission TOS. You _can_ mention something is a commission, just not sites like Patreon or Ko-Fi _by name_ or explicitly say "commission me".
So hi it's 5:30 AM & I want to talk about #slutshaming in fiction. Not slut shaming in the works themselves, but the institutional slut shaming present in the culture of Young Adult fiction writers & consumers and how that contributes to unhealthy & unrealistic ideals. [thread]
Fuck that, fuck all of that. Normalize healthy sexuality, contextualize it, show it in a way they can relate to emotionally not in some intellectual abstract that they can't access when their lizard hindbrain is screaming with horny hormones.
